Are you Energized by STC Rochester? Share the Excitement with your Colleagues.

Have you enjoyed the programs brought to you by STC Rochester (and STC Central New York) this year? Did you know that there have been more than 10 programs offered locally plus Spectrum?

Are you sharing information with your colleagues? Here are a few recommendations:

  • Share some of your takeaways from Spectrum or Summit with your colleagues at work by organizing a lunch-and-learn session at work or another activity.
  • Set up a networking event with colleagues and invite conference attendees to share what they’ve learned.
  • Review the slides from Spectrum or Summit on Slideshare. (Search for the #spectrum13 and #stc13 hashtags.)
  • Check out the Lanyrd site for a birds-eye view of the Summit 13 speakers and sessions.
  • Start a Twitter account and contribute to the ongoing discussions about #stc13, #stcorg, #techcomm or contribute information about what you’ve learned.
  • If you attended Summit, listen to and view the sessions you weren’t able to attend during the conference. There’s some really good material there. (You can also purchase a copy of Summit@aClick.)
  • Read a book or article mentioned or authored by a speaker you’ve heard. Write a review and share it in the STC Rochester Linkedin Group, our Facebook page, or on GoodReads.
  • Write a few short paragraphs and send it to to post as a blog entry on the STC Rochester website about what you’ve learned at the conferences or our programs or share what you’ve found to be most important for your professional development.

Have we contributed to your professional growth? Share that information with your colleagues while it’s still fresh!
