Job Description

Transonic Systems is global medical device company. We design, manufacture and sell innovative blood flow measurement systems and patient monitors for doctors and nurses working in surgery, (P)ICU, hemodialysis, interventional radiology, and  biomedical research.

We are seeking an experienced instructor and course curriculum writer from the medical or life sciences arena to help us raise the standard of care in our worldwide product application areas, by:

* Taking a lead role in our company (in collaboration with our key clinical collaborators) in the development of:

  • Surgical Residency Training Programs for basic physiology and methodologies associated with flow-based and flow-assisted surgery;
  • Nurses’ and Nephrologists’ training modules for hemodialysis patient management (access patency, dialysis adequacy, cardiovascular status)
  • Laboratory practice courses
  • Clinical Rounds practice programs that implement these flow-based and flow-assisted principles
  • Continuous Education Credit Programs

* Delivering such programs to selected key sites, and provide training,

* Assist in the development , review and evaluation of all Medical Communications from or to Transonic, including:

  • study-related documents for training users of Transonic products,
  • or formatting journal articles,
  • application protocols by collaborating with Product Managers,and Product Users,

* Stay current with all FDA requirements related to Transonic products,

* Assist in maintaining the Transonic Web pages for medical relevancy and accuracy.

Other Requirements:

*At least a Bachelors Degree with a strong background in Biology, Nursing and/or Pre-Med

*Preferably with 5 years of professional teaching/course writing work experience
