Perspectives on Spectrum: Anna Parker-Richards

The Spectrum 2011 conference was a resounding success! The keynote speaker was inspiring, the way she bridged management consulting concepts with technical writing, teaching us how to communicate how we add value to the bottom line from a business perspective. It was also a tremendous opportunity to network with STC colleagues in the geographic neighborhood, and with some of the members of the STC board, just as the results of the election were announced. Most importantly, STC Rochester and STC Toronto developed a new companionship that will evolve into cross-border professional development and networking opportunities for both communities. It was a pleasure to be welcomed as a sister community to STC Rochester and STC Toronto looks forward to reciprocating your gracious hospitality.
