Spectrum 2017 Keynote
The Future is here! Are you with us?
We are pleased to announce that Content Philosopher Joe Gollner will keynote the Spectrum 2017 regional conference! Join us as we explore how our role as Technical Communicators is changing. Joe is a pioneer in the field of Content Management, and has most recently advanced the idea of Content 4.0 at events such as TCWorld in Stuttgart. Content 4.0 provides a way to understand what Communicators will be asked to produce in the future.
“For the times they are a-changin,’” Bob Dylan famously sang. Changes present challenges. For Joe Gollner, what is more important about these changes than the challenges they represent are the opportunities they provide. Joe sees an opportunity, and even a need, for Technical Communicators to play an expanded role in helping the next generation of organizations operate and adapt to a digital economy. Widely acknowledged as one of the world’s leading content strategists (https://mindtouch.com/…/announcing-top-25-content-strategis…), Joe will help us kick off our exploration of what we can do, both individually and collectively as a community of professionals, to make the most of the changes that are unfolding all around us.
