The Opportunity:
As a member of the Credit Data Strategy group, this individual will assist with the documentation, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of data capture, analysis and reporting solutions to meet the internal and external commercial credit information needs of the Credit Division.


  • Maintain documentation and support for existing applications, data, and reporting solutions built within the Group
  • Conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation
  • Ensure documentation around complex routine queries is accurate and maintains appropriate controls
  • Provide system support to assigned department; responsible for the maintenance of existing systems and processes, and participates in documentation and enhancements as needed
  • Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users
  • Conduct and complete research on a timely and ad-hoc basis for various departmental projects
  • Participate in the development of new systems to include but not limited to testing, procedures and implementation
  • Responsible for database maintenance of new and existing systems
  • Participate in training of end-users as needed
  • Participate and work as a team member or leader on various departmental projects
  • Identify, document and implement process efficiency projects within the Credit Division
  • Develop and write routine specifications for small projects
  • Review and revise specifications with client until agreement and sign-off are achieved
  • Participate in the resolution of any issues that arise from testing or implementation
  • Participate in post implementation follow-up by getting feedback and resolving any issues

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 4 years work experience
  • Minimum three years’ experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance or Business strongly preferred
  • Strong MIS skills preferred
  • Excel, T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Management Studio and supporting tools (or MS Access, relational database experience, equivalent SQL query language experience)
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (Qlikview/Tableau)
  • Ability to self-start; implement a creative, self-determined solution to manage departmental documentation, audit strikes, workflow wireframes
  • Write clear and concise policies and procedures
  • Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and ability to listen to understand, fostering open and effective communications
  • Knowledge of data processing terminology; ability to understand business terminology; ability to understand business being supported
  • Detail oriented; strong organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of the information capabilities of the bank’s commercial loan accounting systems – AFS, CLCS, IDS (Info Lease), and/or Shaw is a plus, but not required.
