Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Description:

This role requires strong relationship and team skills and ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders across Architecture. The candidate will primarily support the Architecture team to manage the day-to-day operations of our Communications Function. The candidate will not only work to solicit and develop content from the stakeholders, but will also be responsible for enhancing and marketing of their work product. Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on various Architecture programs. The candidate must have strong interpersonal and written skills and be able to work to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. Technical web skills such as working knowledge of HTML and some marketing skills are welcomed as well. The candidate may assist with some administration tasks for senior managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight, content development, and administration of communications material.
  • Create, gather and distribute content to support news vehicles and newsletters.
  • Play a supporting role supporting Senior Management communications and other programs led by Architecture Team.
  • Maintain department website, share point, and collaborate social media site.
  • Communicate key messages with accuracy in a professional manner.
  • Meet strict deadlines.
  • Provided communication support on major projects.
  • Generate FAQs on key deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required (Bachelor’s Degree).
  • Previous communications experience preferred.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and execute communication plans at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with developing, publishing and maintaining content for various communication channels that include presentations, town-halls, email, collaboration tools and blogs, and newsletters.
  • Excellent PC, Presentation, and Technical skills including Microsoft products (Qutlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of web and graphics tools (HTML, Photoshop, SharePoint and Collaboration) preferred but not necessary.
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and accountability for role and responsibilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influence skills, experience interacting with all levels of organization.
  • Must be a customer-focused, delivery-oriented person, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while staying focused on the delivery of desired business outcomes.
  • Motivated, self-starter who can independently handle tasks with little oversight.
  • Collaborates and consistently demonstrates a team orientation.
