Proposal Manager, Eagleview – Rochester, NY

Job Description

The Proposal Manager supports the Sales Organization by overseeing timely development of proposals that demonstrate and differentiate the value of EagleView’s services to win business opportunities. The Proposal Manager is responsible for the organization’s proposal operations and serves as the lead writer/editor.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage team of proposal writers
  • Create and maintain proposal process documentation and training materials
  • Provide guidance on proposal strategy and suggestions on proposal development
  • Review proposals to ensure proposal narrative aligns with customer requirements and offer suggestions if changes are necessary
  • Track RFP metrics, including win-loss data
  • Write proposals that comply with RFP requirements and are responsive to customer needs

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, Strong storytelling skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong listening and critical thinking skills
  • Experience writing and editing proposals
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining professional relationships and managing cross-functional teams
  • Process driven and self-motivated
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and OneNote
  • Prior experience with SmartDocs (or similar content repository) is a plus
  • Direct experience with GIS/Engineering/Photogrammetry is a plus
  • Knowledge of Association of Proposal Management best practices and/or certification is a plus
