Locations and maps

All Spectrum events are held at the Rochester Institute of Technology, except informal social activities as noted.

The CPTC course on Saturday, Sunday workshops, Monday conference sessions, and Tuesday workshops are held in Louise Slaughter Hall. View this map to see the location.

For Saturday (CPTC course), park in the Global Village Parking Lot. On Sunday, park near Louise Slaughter Hall in Lot T. For the Sunday night banquet, Park in Lot F.

For Monday and Tuesday a parking pass is required. You will receive a pass by email after registration. You must display this pass on your dash to avoid a parking ticket.

Please note that parking for Monday and Tuesday has changed this year. Park in Lot B and take a shuttle that comes by every 15 minutes to get to Louise Slaughter Hall. If you have mobility issues please let the Spectrum committee know so we can accommodate you.

Directions for CPTC Course on Saturday and Leadership Day (Sunday)

  1. From the east (Doubletree Hotel), take Jefferson Road (RT 252) west to the main campus entrance at Lomb Memorial Drive.
  2. Turn left onto Lomb Memorial Drive.
  3. Enter the roundabout and head west (right) onto Andrews Drive.
  4. Pass Lots E, F, and J.
  5. On Saturday, follow the loop to Kimball Drive to enter the Global Village Parking Lot. Walk south and east to Louise Slaughter Hall.
  6. On Sunday, turn left onto James Barker Place to enter Parking Lot T.
  7. Once parked in Lot T, walk south towards the buildings and the large staircase. The main entrance to Louise Slaughter Hall is at the west end of the Quad.

Directions for the Banquet (Sunday night)

  1. From the east (Doubletree Hotel), take Jefferson Road (RT 252) west to the main campus entrance at Lomb Memorial Drive.
  2. Turn left onto Lomb Memorial Drive.
  3. Enter the roundabout and head west (right) onto Andrews Drive.
  4. Turn left onto John Bausch Boulevard to enter Parking Lot F. If you are parked in Lot T, you may leave your car there or move to Parking Lot F for the banquet.
  5. From Lot F, walk south towards the buildings on Doris Carlson Way to N bike path, turn right, and then left by the Vignelli Center for Design Studies in James Booth Hall. Follow the walkway to the large, accessible entrance to James Booth Hall, and then find the Bevier (University) Gallery straight ahead.

NEW 2019 Directions for Spectrum Conference and Workshops (Monday-Tuesday)

  1. From the east (Doubletree Hotel), take Jefferson Road (RT 252) west to the main campus entrance at Lomb Memorial Drive.
  2. Turn left onto county route 266 John Street. Barnes and Noble is on the southwest corner and Fastrac is on the southeast; UHaul is on the northeast corner.
  3. Turn right onto Charles H. Wiltsie Drive.
  4. Turn right into Parking Lot B
  5. Display the parking pass on your dash. If the pass is not visible you will receive a parking ticket.
  6. Take the shuttle to Louise Slaughter Hall. The shuttle stop is located on Wiltsie Drive between the two entrances to Parking Lot B.

Additional Directions for Exhibitors

  1. From the east (Doubletree Hotel), take Jefferson Road (RT 252 west) to the main campus entrance at Lomb Memorial Drive.
  2. Turn left onto Lomb Memorial Drive.
  3. Enter the roundabout and head west (right) onto Andrews Drive.
  4. Continue past Louise Slaughter Hall and follow the loop to Kimball Drive.
  5. Follow Kimball Drive to the rear loading entrance of Louise Slaughter Hall.

Note: After unloading, vendors may park in Lot B.

Shuttle from the DoubleTree

There will be a shuttle from the DoubleTree at 7:45 am on Monday only. Please inform the front desk if you plan on taking it.
